Michael - Guideline Violations   2007-11-26 23:03:03 Except that only 3 out of those don't blatantly violate Mozilla's icon usage guidelines, and two of those three are only just within guidelines. They're only guidelines, to be sure, but there was a point to them initially. Reply | Quote

Marco - Don't agree   2007-11-27 08:07:20 I think you mean these guidelines about the feed icons? I get your point, but I don't agree with you. I can use a smiley like this one: and use it to promote my RSS feed, don't I? This means that I can use whatever image to promote my feed, so why not an image that indeed does look like the feed icon from Mozilla? And as one of the guidelines tell you: Quote: The feed icon should be used to indicate the presence of information provided via web syndication It's not a "must" use the icon. Reply | Quote
