Banned or rejected advertisement

Advertisement can be very creative these days. Some of them try so hard to be different than the rest, the ad gets rejected or banned. This is because of offensive or shocking content.

Banned Advertising

Here are a couple ads that got rejected or banned. Remember: They are rejected for a reason and I'm pretty sure you'll see why.

I'm pretty happy to not-see some of these as a real advertisement. Why do you think some ads are banned?

Gravatar image Umm...the embalming fluid and wound filler ads are from the show Six Feet Under. They aren't even real products. :s

Gravatar image A lot of these aren't banned or rejected...they're just made up.

But I've seen all the Dolce and Gabbana ones in magazines, so they weren't banned at all.

Gravatar image Those D&G ads are banned in several countries (not in all).

For example, the first D&G ad was banned here because it looked as if there were a couple of guys raping the girl ;)

Gravatar image I can understand why they banned most of these. The "Roger More" condom one is good though; a bit of light humour I thought...

Shai - Kiss Cigarettes   | 128.139.226.xxx | 2008-04-23 23:35:34
Gravatar image The "Kiss" cigarette ad wasn't regected at all. As you can see, it has the hebrew "Cigarettes cause addiction" warning, as it was published in many magazines & newspapers in Israel.
Alex - ...   | 86.17.60.xxx | 2008-05-02 04:14:32
Gravatar image They may have been published in some countries, but not all.
Rei   | 86.42.223.xxx | 2008-05-08 00:03:37
Gravatar image I didn't think there was anything wrong with the Durex condom ad, I thought it was funny. xD
And I don't remmeber that 'girls dressed by boys' thing on TG4, don't even know what program it was for and i hate those irish channels, so it might not've been banned...Ah well. It would've been awesome to see that though xD
