I get your point, but I don\'t agree with you. I can use a smiley like this one: :) and use it to promote my RSS feed, don\'t I?

This means that I can use whatever image to promote my feed, so why not an image that indeed does look like the feed icon from Mozilla?

And as one of the guidelines tell you:
[quote]The feed icon [i]should[/i] be used to indicate the presence of information provided via web syndication[/quote]It\'s not a \&quot;must\&quot; use the icon.</description>
