The gaming industry can sometimes be a real source of inspiration. The designs, animation, graphics, music and storyline in each and every game can help you get your inspiration fluids running.

Although I don't play much games myself, I do like the way some game logos (and game covers) are designed.

On the picture above, you see Faith, the main character in Mirror's Edge. The game logo imitates the shape of the design around her right eye.

The list below shows some seriously sleek and well designed game logos for your inspiration. They all have one thing in common: The logo is more than "just the name of the game" in a fancy way. It's something where you can recognize the game of.

The names beneith the logos are the names of the game incl. the name of the developer.

I've always liked the Guitar hero logo, although i never understood why people would want to play a game imitating a guitar, when they can just get a guitar Also the Doom logo is memorable, and i like the Assassin's creed one, the rounded apostrophe is a great detail. Marco - Thanks!   2009-03-30 08:42:42 Same counts for me - I don't really like Guitar Hero, but their logo is pretty cool (better than the "RockBand" logo). I especially took the "old" Doom logo (instead of the Doom III version) since that one is well known by loads of people and has a lot more "body" than the new one. Thanks for the comment! A lot of games come out every year, some good, some bad, but the logo needs to help sell them and the better it looks, the more you know you have a better chance of getting a good game.
