Breathtaking dual- and widescreen wallpapers

Many people own a widescreen monitor. This is mainly because most laptops are widescreen and more laptops than normal PC's are sold. Another thing that people love these days is working with dual screens (two or more screens). I'm working dual too: 15,4" on my laptop, together with a 21" widescreen. It really improves my workflow as a programmer / designer.

One of the problems with these wide screen resolutions, is that many backgrounds (wallpapers) will not fit since most of them are made for a normal screen. This is the reason I collected 33 of the most breathtaking dual- and widescreen wallpapers.

Gravatar image How do you get the background to span both monitors? I have dual monitors and am running Windows XP...the background is duplicated (in its entirety) on both screens instead of one image split between the two screens. Any advice?

Right-click desktop, select properties, desktop tab, for background select "none", click "Customize Desktop", Web tab, click "New" button, browse to your image. Done. If the image doesn't cover both screens entirely you can stretch it by dragging on its edges.

Gravatar image <img src=hock:' /> to put your wallpaper across 2 screens next to each other just make it tiled instead of stretched like you normally would. hope that helps
