Personal note: Vacation in the Philippines

Here's a quick personal note (nothing wrong with giving your blog some personality, right?). I just came back from a great vacation in the Philippines and I'm sorry for the lack of updates. To cheer up your, I wanted to share some wonderful pictures that I took while I was on the other side of the world (I live in the Netherlands).

Gravatar image I was there too last year's summer (2008) There is really nice country but my trip was better than country. :) Kazakhstan to Turkey, Turkey to Netherlands, Netherlands to Philippines. :)

Gravatar image Just Amsterdam because of limited time but i went a lot of place in Philippines. Boracay, Pampanga, Manila (of course), Cebu and more... I'm working in Kazakhstan, there is interesting country also. What about Turkey? Have you been here (Turkey) ?

Gravatar image In the Phil, I've only went to Manila, Cebu, Cagayan de Oro (that's where my family lives), Camiguin and Bohol. All wonderful places!

I've been to Turkey once - last year, I went with some friends to "partyplace" Alanya. Wat very nice to be there, loads of friendly people :) .

If you ever feel visiting the Netherlands again, make sure you drop by Arnhem ;) !

Gravatar image Sure had a great time, but now "back to the regular days" :) . The sea star was huge (especially since you can't find any sea stars here), but it didn't do very much. The tentacles were a bit weird though!

Gravatar image Thanks for your comment John Paul :) . I've been to Cebu a couple of times, since I normally had a transfer flight to CdO when CdO didn't had an international airport.

The flight would be: Amsterdam -> Singapore -> Cebu and with the ferry to CdO. We would always stay a day (or 2) in Cebu.

Now that CdO has an international airport, we can do Amsterdam > Manila > CdO.
